Along the Horlachbach stream, past the Larstighof (snack station) to the klein-Horlachalm. After a bend in the trail, the Schweinfurter hut awaits. Continue through the Finstertal valley to an alpine hut or hunting lodge and to the Hohe Wasserfalle, which can be reached from the Finstertal hut (2,147 m). Climb up to the Wannenkar until a small, clearly pronounced moraine ridge leads upwards in an arc on the right.
