If you love the floral splendor of the Alps, this hike is a must. Among other things, you can discover Blue Gentian and other plants typical for the altitude.
From the Falknerhof, follow the village road past the football field to the Mauslesattel. From here a path leads to the left along the steep mountain slope. Through young forest and shrubbery it continues to the Untere Hemrachalm at over 2000 meters.
If you wish, you can continue hiking from there in the direction of the Obere Hemerachalm. Once you reach the top, you will have a magnificent view of the Geigenkamm and the edge of a huge landslide.
The descent leads over beautiful alpine pastures in the direction of Wiesle, a managed alpine pasture. Continue on a forest path back to the mountain village of Niederthai, to the sun terrace of the Falknerhof.
