Old Niederthaier Road

This tour can be underestimated, but this does it an injustice, because it is not leisurely, on the contrary, it is really quite demanding. At the beginning of the Umhausener Höhenweg, you swing onto the saddle and at its end, a short steep climb approaches.

You will probably need to take a short breather after this challenging stretch. Enjoy the view of the Ötztal mountains and recharge your batteries. Via Höfle, the path leads you sharply to the right past Gasthof Stuibenfall.

Only a short five-minute walk away is the famous Stuibenfall, a stop would be just right here before you get back into full swing on the old Niederthaier road.
